A seamless migration from to Shopify using AI for website enrichment.

Product enrichment & automation

For 2dekansje we have created a unique product enrichment solution that integrates with the newly built Akeneo PIM backend. The core criteria was to have a service that automatically creates and enriches products merely by using the product's EAN identifier.

We do this by fetching product data from the Bol.com API, in addition to translating product titles and descriptions via OpenAI's GPT models. We also use AI to ensure that descriptions differ from the Bol.com descriptions while preserving the same amount of information, resulting in unique content that can boost SEO.

Essentially, our solution eliminates the need of preparing lengthy Excel files with cold product data and allows the e-commerce store managers to cut the time of "launching" products on their platform by a significant amount as these products do not need to be manually set up as they used to be in Lightspeed.
